DESCRIPTION:Powerstories Theatre is proud to present the Voices of Women Theatre Festival\, a showcase of original works by 11 brilliant women playwrights from March 21-30 at the USF Theatre. The festival is a tribute to Women's History Month and a response to the glaring underrepresentation of women in playwriting. The festival aims to highlight the diverse and powerful voices of women from different backgrounds and genres.\n\n\n\nThe Voices of Women Theatre Festival is an annual event that features live and online performances of plays written by women. The festival started during the pandemic's peak to connect isolated patrons and the theatre when the stage was closed. Now in its fourth year\, the festival has seen its debuting playwrights go on to achieve national recognition.\n\n\n\nWith a tagline of EmpowerHER. InspirHER. AmplifiHER.\, the festival provides women a safe and inclusive space to tell their stories and inspire audiences worldwide.
