Chamber Member Volunteer Day with Metropolitan Ministries

The November General Tent Volunteer Opportunity is serving families throughout Tampa Bay with a full Thanksgiving meal this holiday season. As part of that effort, you will help on a variety of teams for this shift, including but not limited to, parking and greeting our guests, taking in donations from the community, and all aspects of the distribution of Thanksgiving meals for our guests. Please be flexible as after a brief orientation we will split up the volunteers for this shift according to the needs of the day. 

Dress Code
Please be sure to wear CLOSED-TOE SHOES, and a shirt with sleeves (jeans and short sleeve t-shirts are great; no tank tops).

Check-In & Parking
Please report to the Volunteer Services area in the Holiday Tent. You can park in the Volunteer parking lot, look for parking attendants to direct you. Parking is extremely limited, so we highly encourage carpooling. 

Personal Items
It is best to leave purses and electronics at home or out of sight in your trunk or another secure location while volunteering.

Minimum Age
All volunteers must be 8 years old or older.
