Hear from Stephen King, Executive Director and Yvette Rouse, Volunteer Manager of Meals on Wheels of Tampa which serves the Greater Tampa area. Enjoy lite bites made in Meals on Wheels of Tampa’s kitchen, which serves hundreds of meals everyday to those in need!
About Meals on Wheels of Tampa:
Meals on Wheels of Tampa is a privately funded nonprofit that feeds and cares for the area's homebound, disabled, and elderly neighbors by the delivery of a daily meal and caring visit from a volunteer. Meals On Wheels serves over 1,100 individuals a hot, nutritious meal delivered to their door by caring volunteers. Our recipients receive a hot meal and a visit designed to achieve increased intake of nutritious food, improved personal outlook and health, and decreased feelings of isolation and loneliness. The Meals On Wheels Of Tampa Pick Up site that we’ll be celebrating is located at 4100 S Manhattan Ave in South Tampa.
