Mary Pat King
CEO, Girl Scouts of West Central Florida
Mary Pat King is CEO of Girl Scouts of West Central Florida, which serves nearly 18,000 Girl Scout members in Hillsborough, Pinellas, Pasco, Polk, Citrus, Hernando, Sumter and Marion counties. Girl Scouts builds girls of courage, confidence and character who make the world a better place. A certified association executive, King spent 20+ years leading the design, nationwide growth, and evaluation of youth/family programs for several nonprofits including National PTA, American Diabetes Association and Safe Kids Worldwide. She is on the Hillsborough County Commission on the Status of Women and is a John Maxwell Leadership Trainer. A child advocate, King has served as an expert advisor to numerous initiatives supporting student success and well-being. She earned a master's degree from Syracuse University and a bachelor's degree from Le Moyne College. King and her husband, Eric, live in Palm Harbor with their two children, Mason and Jenna.
