THEA Announces Two New Selmon Expressway Slip Ramps
The Tampa Hillsborough Expressway Authority (THEA) is proud to announce the opening of two new Selmon Expressway slip ramps that provide access to express travel on the Reversible Express Lanes (REL). Commuters can now enter the REL near I-75, bypassing the usual congestion at Faulkenburg Road and 301. The ramps are strategically positioned to create a seamless transition from the Reversible Express Lanes (REL) to the lower lanes of the Selmon Expressway and are a game-changer for drivers in South County commuting to downtown Tampa or MacDill Airforce Base. With two new ramps connecting the Reversible Express Lanes (REL) to local lanes, you can now enjoy an uninterrupted drive all the way to Gandy Bridge!
