The South Tampa Chamber is proud to announce our 2025 Award Recipients

Citizen of the Year - Tim Marks
The Citizen of the Year Award is presented to an individual who has gone above and beyond to help make the community of South Tampa a better place to live. Through their actions, they have influenced an improvement in the quality of life in and around South Tampa.

Hero Award - Terry Montrose 
The South Tampa Chamber Hero Award honors individuals—particularly those in the military, first responders, or community service—who demonstrate extraordinary courage, leadership, and dedication. It recognizes those who go above and beyond to make a lasting impact—true heroes who exemplify compassion, commitment, and the spirit of service.

Champion of Women - Debra Palmer 
The Champion for Women Award recognizes an individual or organization that has demonstrated exceptional commitment and impact in advancing equality and empowering women.

Join the South Tampa Chamber on December 3rd as we kick off our 100th anniversary, honoring a century of community, connection, and growth, while looking ahead to the next 100 years of impact and innovation. Let’s celebrate where we’ve been and where we’re going, together.​ 

During this gathering, Tanya Cielo, who served as the Chair of the Board for 2025, will ceremoniously hand over the gavel to Blake Guthrie, who will take the reins as the Chair of the Board for 2026.
 
We'll also take the opportunity to recognize outstanding contributions within our community by presenting awards for Member of the Year, Volunteer of the Year, Ambassador of the Year, and the New Member Impact Award.
