2026 Business of the Year Award Winners Announced

The South Tampa Chamber proudly recognized the region's most outstanding businesses, organizations, and professionals during its annual Business of the Year Awards, held June 18, 2026, at The Westshore Grand. Presented during the Chamber's Centennial Year, the awards celebrated excellence in business, leadership, innovation, community impact, and service throughout South Tampa and the greater Tampa Bay region. South Tampa Chamber Wins Top Award for Communications

The South Tampa Chamber has been named one of 12 Communications Award of Excellence winners by the Association of Chamber of Commerce Executives (ACCE). ACCE is an association based in Alexandria, Virginia, that has over 1,600 chambers of commerce and related business and economic development organizations as members, representing more than 9,000 professionals in the industry.

Glazer Family Announce Additional Investment Into Glazer Family Small Business Fund

The Glazer Family, owners of the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, have announced an additional investment in the Glazer Family Small Business Fund, bringing the program’s total commitment to $1.6 million since its launch in 2024. Applications for the 2026 Glazer Family Small Business Fund are now open and will be accepted on a rolling basis. The next round of recipients will be announced in late June.

Tampa Community Mourns the Loss of MacDill Airmen

For more than 80 years, the South Tampa Chamber and the Tampa Bay community have stood beside the men and women of MacDill Air Force Base. We are devastated by the loss of three members of the 99th Air Refueling Squadron, and we offer our deepest condolences to their families, loved ones, and fellow service members following the loss of a KC-135 Stratotanker during Operation Epic Fury on March 12, 2026. The 99th Air Refueling Squadron is a geographically separated unit stationed at Sumpter Smith Joint
