Glazer Family Announce Additional Investment Into Glazer Family Small Business Fund
The Glazer Family, owners of the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, have announced an additional investment in the Glazer Family Small Business Fund, bringing the program’s total commitment to $1.6 million since its launch in 2024.
Since its inception, the Fund has supported nearly 300 local small businesses with critical funding. Building on this success, the Glazer Family has expanded the initiative to provide meaningful, long-term support to entrepreneurs navigating challenges or setbacks. The Fund is designed to help stabilize and grow businesses that are already established but in need of strategic financial assistance.
Applications for the 2026 Glazer Family Small Business Fund are now open and will be accepted on a rolling basis. The next round of recipients will be announced in late June.
Eligibility Requirements:
- Must be a registered business operating for at least 12 months
- Must not have previously received funding from the Glazer Family Small Business Fund
- Must demonstrate a need for strategic funding to recover from setbacks or address business challenges
“Small businesses are the fabric of this community, and my family has been incredibly inspired by the countless stories from our local entrepreneurs since we established the Glazer Family Small Business Fund,” said Darcie Glazer Kassewitz, Buccaneers Owner and Glazer Family Foundation Chairman. “We are passionate about supporting small businesses and understand the challenges they may face.” View the full press release HERE.
The Fund works in collaboration with eight local chambers to identify and distribute grants to small businesses in need. Participating organizations include the Tampa Bay Chamber, North Tampa Bay Chamber, South Tampa Chamber, St. Petersburg Chamber, Tampa Bay Beaches Chamber, Manatee Chamber, Greater Plant City Chamber, and Amplify Clearwater.
“Access to capital remains one of the most significant challenges facing small businesses today,” said Kelly Flannery, CEO of the South Tampa Chamber. “The Glazer Family Small Business Fund is making a meaningful impact by providing not only financial support, but also renewed confidence for entrepreneurs to overcome obstacles and continue contributing to the strength and vitality of our local economy.”
