3rd Round of Glazer Family Small Business Fund Grants Announced

Today, the Glazer Family, owners of the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, crossed the million-dollar threshold for the Glazer Family Small Business Fund, donating funding to an additional 101 local businesses throughout the Tampa Bay and West Central Florida regions. To date, 295 businesses have received funding totaling $1.2 million since the fund was established in December 2024.

Following Hurricanes Helene and Milton, the Glazer Family donated $2 million to support local relief efforts, including the creation of the $1 million Glazer Family Small Business Fund. A third round of grant applications was opened by the Glazer Family last month in response to the continued need from local businesses throughout the Tampa Bay area.

“The aftermath of Hurricanes Helene and Milton has brought tremendous challenges to our region over the last year. We are inspired by the remarkable strength and perseverance of our local business community as they continue their recovery process,” said Buccaneers Owner and Glazer Family Foundation Chairman Darcie Glazer Kassewitz.

"As a Chamber, we are deeply grateful to the Glazer family for their ongoing commitment to supporting our local businesses during such a challenging time. This generous contribution not only helps to strengthen the economy but also reaffirms the resilience and unity of the Tampa Bay community. We are honored to be part of this initiative and look forward to seeing the positive impact of these grants on the businesses during this time of continued recovery," said Tanya Cielo, Chair of the Board for the South Tampa Chamber.
