A letter from the 2024 Chair of the Board

Dear Valued Members, 
 
As we embark on a new year, I would like to take a moment to express my gratitude for your continued support and participation in our vibrant business community. South Tampa continues to grow and attract incredible talent, innovation and excitement because of your efforts.
 
The South Tampa Chamber of Commerce is built on collaboration and thrives when members are actively involved and participating in the events and programs being offered. 

The Chamber provides a platform for you to expand your network via its’ numerous signature events, monthly luncheons, ribbon cuttings, happy hours, coffees, educational opportunities, committees and more. Each of these offerings provide opportunity for connection, countless partnerships and growth for our member businesses.
 
The Chamber’s commitment to making South Tampa a place where businesses thrive is outlined in the 5- year strategic plan. I am honored and humbled to serve as chair of the board as we continue working to enhance local commerce, advocate for the community, create a positive member experience and exemplify operational excellence. I invite you to join a committee and help us achieve our vision.
 
The Chamber is a member organization, and the members are the backbone of the Chamber. I encourage you to attend a Chamber 101 for a refresher on what your membership can do for you, attend the events, and celebrate each other’s businesses; their success helps South Tampa prosper and builds a strong business community for your success as well. Invite your connections to join us as we continue to grow and support this thriving community.
 
As many have shared, this Chamber is special; it’s inclusive, friendly, and built of members that genuinely care about one another, it offers a unique opportunity to be able to do business with professionals who very quickly become your friends as well as your referral sources.
