Glazer Family Small Business Fund Announces Third Round of Grants to Benefit Local Business Owners - Applications Open Through July 11th

Today, the Glazer Family, owners of the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, announced a third round of grants for the Glazer Family Small Business Fund. Designed to assist small businesses in the Tampa Bay and West Central Florida regions affected by last year’s devastating hurricane season, the program is funded by a $1 million commitment from the Glazer family and has provided grants to nearly 200 local businesses. Following Hurricanes Helene and Milton, the Glazer Family donated $2 million to support local relief efforts, including the creation of the $1 million Glazer Family Small Business Fund. The NFL Foundation, the league’s philanthropic arm, complemented this donation with a $250,000 donation to the Glazer Family Small Business Fund.
“The recovery process from Hurricanes Helene and Milton has been long and difficult for many in our region these past eight months. Our family has been inspired by the resiliency and dedication of our local business community as they work through this recovery,” said Buccaneers Owner and Glazer Family Foundation Chairman Darcie Glazer Kassewitz. “We realize there are still many in our business communities that need assistance, and my family remains committed to supporting them.”
The Glazer Family Small Business Fund works with eight local chambers to distribute individual grants to small businesses that have been heavily affected by Hurricanes Helene and Milton. The participating chambers include: The Tampa Bay Chamber, North Tampa Bay Chamber, South Tampa Chamber, St. Petersburg Chamber, Tampa Bay Beaches Chamber, Manatee Chamber, Greater Plant City Chamber and Amplify Clearwater.
