Hurricane Milton Support: FEMA Update, Financial Assistance, Open for Business – October 12
We hope this message finds you and your family safe and well. The South Tampa Chamber is committed to helping our community recover and rebuild, and we encourage residents and businesses to reach out for resources and assistance available through local and state agencies.
If you are in need of assistance, we urge you to take the following actions today:
- FEMA UPDATE: A major disaster declaration has been approved to supplement recovery efforts. Residents & business owners in designated areas are eligible for federal assistance. | APPLY HERE
- Complete the Business Damage Assessment Survey to assist government agencies in evaluating the impact. | CLICK HERE

Tampa's Emergency Hotline is activated to answer residents' questions regarding Hurricane-related issues. Call 1 (833) TPA-INFO(872-4636). Operating hours are from 8 am-5 pm on Saturday, October 12th and Sunday, October 13th.

MEMBER GIFT CARD DRIVE
Connecting with members during the initial aftermath, we have begun to identify members who are in need assistance due to severe damage or loss of their homes and/or businesses. We are facilitating a gift card drive to assist these members in need. Gift cards will be collected October 1-31, 2024. | LEARN MORE HERE
