When you were younger, what did you want to be when you grew up? Why?
I wanted to work with children, I was always the neighborhood babysitter, worked as a camp counselor for several summers, volunteered in a kindergarten class. I am a licensed Speech Language Pathologist and followed that dream for almost 15 years and then found a new, wonderful path to also explore.
What is your favorite restaurant in Tampa Bay? Why?
I can not and won’t choose just 1. Tampa has a lot of great food.
What is a secret talent you have?
Hmmm, many people don’t know much about my  previous career as an SLP or that I’m fairly fluent in Spanish. I’m a bit out of practice but I grew up in a bilingual home with my Cuban grandparents living downstairs.
What is your favorite business book?
I tend to read or listen to multiple books at one time, taking a pick and choose perspective on what I keep in my brain, so I don’t have a clear answer to this one.
Who is your hero?
That’s a lot of pressure to put on one person. I’m always listening and learning, so many people have qualities I admire and learn from, I don’t have just one hero but a lot of teachers. My children are incredible teachers as well.

I love the beaches, enjoy all our waterfront activities and restaurants, especially if it’s with my family.
In your opinion, what is the best benefit of being a Chamber member?
The relationships and connections that are formed. Remember a Member is one of my favorite chamber initiatives, you get to do business locally and then cheer those businesses on. What a great way to support your local economy while building friendships along the way.
What is your favorite memory being a part of the South Tampa Chamber?
My favorite memories usually come from the board, committees and events I volunteer at. Fun, yet competitive ambassador games, visiting new members, field trips to MacDill, volunteering at the golf tournaments even though I have no idea how to play the game. There are so many fun memories and memories where I came out of my comfort zone to challenge myself in a new way to grow as a professional and a community member.

Tell us your name and brief description of your business.
My name is Zahira Lehri and I am the President/Managing Director of 2Fish International Inc; a company that specialized in high end fishing and marine equipment.
What is a piece of advice you would give to someone starting/growing a business in Tampa Bay?
The best piece of advice for someone starting a business in Tampa Bay would be to make sure the location is appropriate for the products and or services that they wish to bring to the community. Also, create a team that is not just passionate about the business but also talented in areas that are you are not so strong in.  Give your 100% to the business and the community and watch your business excel.
When you were younger, what did you want to be when you grew up? Why?
Having come from a family of entrepreneurs, business has always been in my DNA.  Therefore, being an entrepreneur was something I knew I was going to become when I got older.
I focus on investing in under-branded/distressed businesses and working on making them profitable for sale within 24-36 months.
What is your favorite restaurant in Tampa Bay? Why?
Tampa Bay has many amazing and unique restaurants.  For that reason, it would hard to pick just one.  But if I have to make a choice I would say my favorite spot to hang out would be Forbici Mordern Italian Restaurant and Meat Market. Their service is exceptional, their food is amazing and they believe in giving back to the community. They are a perfect example of bringing friends and family together.
What is a secret talent you have?
I enjoy cooking and I’ve been told that I am good cook. I don’t need a recipe book to invent a new dish.
What is your favorite business book?
Unfortunately my tight schedule leaves me with little time to read, which I do enjoy very much.  However, a book that comes to mind is Rich Dad Poor Dad by Robert Kiyosaki and Sharon Lechter. It teaches the importance of financial literacy and building wealth.
Who is your hero?
I have looked up to my father all my life. He is a wonderful coach, has supported me with my decisions throughout my life and been the most amazing nana to my daughter.
What is your favorite activity in Tampa Bay?
Tampa bay has so much to offer and so many activities one can do. I think my favorite activity is walking along the Riverwalk with my friends and family. Of course, nothing beats a day at the beach, and Tampa Bay sure has plenty of options for sun and surf.  Sunsets are exceptionally beautiful and it never gets old to admire people kayaking, boating or running.
In your opinion, what is the best benefit of being a Chamber member?
In a word, it’s the “people”.  I have met and connected with some of the most amazing and diverse group of people.  The connections made are not just for business, but on a personal level as well.
What is your favorite memory being a part of the South Tampa Chamber?
My favorite memory would have to be visiting McDill Airforce Base. It was my first time being at any military base and I was completely at awe to see the entire operation. For example I had no idea they repair and make parts for the airplanes right on base, or the fact that they have an entire mall, fitness center, golf courses and beautiful homes. Basically a small self-contained city within a city.
