South Tampa Chamber Honors 2025 DEI Champions and Hosts Powerful Keynote on Inclusive Leadership

The South Tampa Chamber proudly recognized BKN Creative, Coffee Uniting People (CUP), and Sally Dee as the 2025 Diversity, Equity & Inclusion (DEI) Champions during its annual DEI Luncheon held on July 16 at The Centre Club.

The DEI Champion Award honors Chamber members including individuals, businesses, and organizations that demonstrate outstanding leadership through programs and initiatives that advance diversity, equity, and inclusion in the workplace and the broader community.

“We are proud to spotlight those who are making meaningful strides in creating inclusive and equitable workplace environments,” said Kelly Flannery, President and CEO of the South Tampa Chamber. “These efforts not only strengthen individual organizations but also build a more vibrant and inclusive community for all.”

The luncheon featured a dynamic keynote from LaKendria Robinson, a nationally recognized DEI strategist and thought leader. Robinson shared real, actionable insight on how companies can move forward with purpose, emphasizing that DEI, when approached with intention and strategy, is not just ethical but also smart business.

The event welcomed nearly 150 business and community leaders in celebration of inclusive leadership and in recognition of the individuals and organizations driving meaningful change.
