South Tampa Chamber to Celebrate 100 Years at Annual Meeting
The South Tampa Chamber of Commerce will mark a remarkable milestone at its 100th Annual Meeting on Wednesday, December 3, 2025. The event will bring together members, community leaders, and business partners to honor a century of supporting and promoting South Tampa’s thriving business community.
The celebration will take place at the historic Tampa Theatre, with an after-party at Hotel Flor—both iconic businesses also celebrating 100 years in 2026. The Chamber invites the community to kick off its 100th anniversary, honoring a century of community, connection, and growth while looking ahead to the next 100 years of impact and innovation.
During the gathering, Tanya Cielo, Chair of the Board for 2025, will ceremoniously pass the gavel to Blake Guthrie, the incoming Chair for 2026. This tradition symbolizes the Chamber’s ongoing commitment to community engagement, advocacy, and fostering local business growth.
The Chamber will also recognize outstanding contributions to the South Tampa community:
- Citizen of the Year: Tim Marks
- Hero of the Year: Terry Montrose
- Champion for Women: Debra Palmer
“Reaching our 100th annual meeting is a historic moment for the South Tampa Chamber,” said President & CEO Kelly Flannery. “This milestone reflects the dedication of our members, leaders, and the entire community who have supported local businesses for a century. We look forward to continuing this legacy of collaboration and growth in the years ahead.”
Tickets for the 100th Annual Meeting are available at SouthTampaChamber.org through December 1.
