On Wednesday, March 1, the U.S. Chamber of Commerce Foundation’s Hiring Our Heroes will host an event focused on best practices for finding, hiring, and retaining military-connected talent.
You'll learn how public and private sector organizations can work together to find innovative solutions to meet the workforce challenges in the Tampa area and beyond, and identify connection points for national and regional veteran and military spouse non-profits.
This free professional development event is hosted by USAA and is open to employer representatives (including human resources leadership, talent acquisition specialists, and hiring managers); representatives from academia, associations, and veteran service organizations; federal and state officials; and advocates.
All attendees are invited to stay for a networking reception that will immediately follow the working session.

Application Deadline – March 3!
The Entrepreneurship Bootcamp for Veterans’ Families (EBV-F) program at Florida State University is currently accepting applications for the Spring 2023 program.

Designed to take advantage of the skills, resources and infrastructure of higher education, the EBV-F program offers cutting-edge, experiential training in entrepreneurship and small business management. EBV-F is a selective and rigorous educational initiative that was created to provide a vocational path forward for military family members.

Ideal candidates for admission will possess a strong interest in entrepreneurship, have started or currently own a business, and demonstrated a high likelihood of successful completion of this intense training program.
