Plan Hillsborough: Henderson Boulevard and Manhattan Avenue
Exciting things are happening along Henderson Boulevard and Manhattan Avenue! Earlier this year, the Transportation Planning Organization (TPO) and its partners launched the Henderson Blvd/Manhattan Ave Vision Plan, a fresh look at how this corridor can better serve everyone who walks, bikes, drives, and lives nearby.
The goal? Create a safer, more connected corridor and prepare for the future. The plan aims to:
- Boost safety for all travelers
- Offer more ways to get around
- Support community goals like health, local business, and stormwater management
The team has completed an Existing Conditions Assessment, digging into current safety issues and other key data. These early findings will help shape a more innovative, inclusive vision for the corridor.
Join us for a Corridor Charrette on November 12, 2025, from 6:30 to 8:00 p.m. at the Witt Community Room, Jan Kaminis Platt Regional Library. This is a chance to share your ideas, ask questions, and help shape the future of your neighborhood. Come ready to roll up your sleeves and participate in the activities; post-its and markers will be provided.
Would you prefer to chime in from home? No problem! Head to PlanHillsborough.org/hm-vp to take the online survey and drop pins on the interactive map.
Let’s build a corridor that works for everyone. See you there!
