Harry Cohen, Hillsborough County Board of County Commissioners
Harry Cohen has dedicated his life and career to public service. A lawyer by profession, he served as Chief Deputy Clerk of the Circuit Court for Hillsborough County from 2005-2011, as an elected member of the Tampa City Council from 2011-2019, and as general counsel to the Clerk from 2019-2020. Harry Cohen is a member of the Hillsborough County Board of County Commissioners representing District 1, a position to which he was elected in November 2020 and re-elected in November 2022. Nancy Millan, Hillsborough County Tax Collector
Nancy C. Millan made history as Hillsborough County's first female and Hispanic Tax Collector when elected in 2020, and voters affirmed her leadership as she ran unopposed for her second term in 2024. Throughout her distinguished 35-year career, she has been instrumental in enhancing customer service, accessibility, and innovation.
As Tax Collector, she oversees a team of over 400 employees across nine locations, serving 1.5 million residents with essential services like the issuance of driver licenses, vehicle registrations and property tax collection. Read more about Nancy here.
Bob Henriquez, Hillsborough County Property Appraiser
Bob “Coach” Henriquez, Hillsborough County Property Appraiser, has deep roots in the Tampa Bay community.
In 2012, he was elected as the Hillsborough County Property Appraiser, a position he has been re-elected three times. Bob is actively involved in various associations and boards related to his field and community, including serving as Secretary of the Florida Association of Constitutional Officers and President of the Property Appraisers' Association of Florida. Lisa McLean, Hillsborough County Public Defender
As Public Defender, Lisa brings practical experience, unwavering integrity, and compassionate leadership to the office. She oversees a team of approximately 220 employees, including about 120 attorneys, and remains focused on delivering effective and efficient legal representation while treating every client with dignity and respect. Under her leadership, the office is tackling the root causes of crime, addressing the barriers to successful reentry, and implementing forward-thinking reforms, including responsible use of artificial intelligence and strong fiscal stewardship.
