2026 Ambassador Application

The Ambassador Program offers you a unique opportunity for increased exposure within the Chamber and the South Tampa community! You will meet with decision makers on a professional basis while helping your Chamber meet its goal of personally connecting with each member.

• Enhanced career and leadership development • Increased exposure for you and your business • Expanded base of contacts and clients • Recognition for you and your company • Opportunity to speak and be recognized at Chamber events by giving announcements and giving away door prizes • Opportunity to serve as an extension of Chamber leadership, help create new programs, and provide feedback through special task forces and one-on-one time with Chamber leadership and staff in attendance at monthly committee meetings • May receive exclusive invitations to community events or be eligible for early registration.
Ambassador Membership Requirements
To qualify to become an Ambassador you must meet the below requirements and partake in an Ambassador-In-Training period, to be determined by the Membership Manager. New ambassadors will be inducted in January of each year. • Employer must be in good standing with the Chamber, only one rep per organization is eligible for selection • Complete the Ambassador Application • Attend a Chamber 101 Class and New Ambassador Orientation (held in January) • Attend a minimum of 1 Chamber event and 1 ribbon cutting each month • Volunteer for a Signature Event (Taste of South Tampa, Golf Classic, etc.) • Work with your Ambassador Mentor during an “Ambassador-In-Training” period. • The Ambassador Committee meets each month for 1 hour to review new members and current chamber programs.
Term of Service
Each Ambassador shall serve a one year appointment January 1st - December 31st.

I understand the Ambassador requirements including the commitment to attend (1) monthly meeting 12x per year. Ambassadors receive three excused absences for the year. If you miss more than three meetings, you may be subject to removal from the committee. *
