Our interior design company, Home Frosting (homefrosting.com) and retail boutique, HF Fine Pillow & Book Bar in South Tampa is seeking a part-time, motivated and creative intern to join our dynamic team. We specialize in providing exceptional interior design services and retail experiences, focusing on innovative designs and exceptional customer service.
Job Summary:
This internship or entry level position offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in both interior design and retail operations, while developing essential skills in sales, customer service, and project management.
Key Responsibilities:
- Retail Operations: Assist with managing store displays, inventory, and customer service.
- Sales and Customer Interaction: Engage with customers, provide design consultations, and contribute to sales efforts.
- Project Management: Assist in organizing design projects, maintaining records, and coordinating logistics.
- Marketing: Participate in brainstorming sessions to improve business strategies and customer engagement.
- Product Launch: Support leadership team with execution of new product launches.

- Self-Starter: Ability to work independently and take initiative on tasks.
- Problem Solver: Effective at resolving issues creatively and efficiently.
- Professional Grooming/Presence: Maintain a professional appearance and demeanor.
- Confident Communicator: Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Comfortable with Selling: Ability to engage customers and promote products effectively.
- Organized: Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
- Transportation: Reliable transportation to our studio in South Tampa.
- Currently enrolled in an interior design, business or related program.
- Proficient in Office suite software.
- Previous retail or design experience is beneficial but not required.
