2026 STCOC Ambassador Applications Open

Are you passionate about building connections and welcoming others into our business community? As a Chamber Ambassador, you’ll be one of the friendly faces of the Chamber — helping new members get connected, supporting events, and sharing our mission across Tampa Bay. This program offers a fun and rewarding way to grow your network, gain leadership experience, and increase visibility for you and your business while giving back to the community.

  • Opportunity to serve an extension of Chamber leadership, help create new programs, and provide feedback through special task forces and one-on-one time with Chamber leadership and staff in attendance at monthly committee meetings
  • May receive exclusive invitations to community events or be eligible for early registration.
Ambassador Membership Requirements

To qualify to become an Ambassador you must meet the below requirements and partake in an  Ambassador-In-Training period, to be determined by the Ambassador Committee Leads. New ambassadors will be inducted in January of each year.
Employer must be in good standing with the Chamber, only one rep per organization is eligible for selection
  • Complete the Ambassador Application
  • Attend a Chamber 101 Class and New Ambassador Orientation (held in January)
  • Attend a minimum of 1 Chamber event and 1 ribbon cutting each month
  • Volunteer for a Signature Event (Taste of South Tampa, Biz Expo, Golf Classic, etc.)
  • Work with your Ambassador Mentor during an “Ambassador-In-Training” period.
  • The Ambassador Committee meets each month for 1 hour to review new members and current chamber programs.

Ambassadors for the 2026 year will be selected no later than November 1, 2025 to be announced at our December 3 Annual Meeting. The 2026 Ambassador term is January 1, 2026-December 31, 2026.

Applications must be submitted no later than 11:00pm on Friday, October 3, 2025.
