The 6th Air Refueling Wing welcomed its fourth commander here, July 29. Col. Adam D. Bingham took command of the 6th ARW from Col. Benjamin R. Jonsson during a ceremony officiated by 18th Air Force Commander Maj. Gen. Kenneth T. Bibb Jr. | Read more here.
Hillsborough County Patriot Day 9/11 Remembrance Event – September 9, 2022
This year’s Patriot Day 9/11 Remembrance Event is scheduled to take place at Veterans Memorial Park on Friday, September 9 at 9 a.m. In partnership with Hillsborough County Fire Rescue (HCFR) and the Veterans Council of Hillsborough County, this ceremony is specially created to note the service and sacrifice of first responders and military personnel. | RSVP & INFO HERE

The Air Force Ball is an annual tradition held throughout the country to celebrate the heritage and history of the United States Air Force. We hope you will join us for the 75th Tampa Air Force Ball to take place at the Tampa Hilton Downtown on Saturday, September 17, 2022.

Academy Day – October 15, 2022

Make-a-Difference Day 2022 – October 29, 2022
“Homeward Bound for Those Who Served” The Center for Development & Civic Engagement (formerly Voluntary Service) at James A. Haley Veterans’ Hospital (JAHVH) is facilitating the annual “Homeward Bound for Those Who Served’ on Make A Difference Day”. This program will look different than years past, as we are continuing to protect our most vulnerable patients from the outside world—gift cards will be mailed.
